Lora Muchmore, Director for Business Enterprise Integration, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations and Environment) Briefs MAPPS on DoD Real Property Inventory
June 26, 2008 — Lora Muchmore, Director, Business Enterprise Integration Directorate, Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment (ODUSD(I&E)) and David LaBranche, PE, Acting Program Manager for the Defense Installation Spatial Data Infrastructure (DISDI), brief MAPPS members on the real property inventory being implemented in the Department of Defense. The system will eventually move from a relative to an absolute location of the more than 700,000 DoD real property assets of installations, facilities, land, and buildings. The program will be implemented by each of the military services at the individual installations.
